Digital Marketing Consultant

Digital Marketing Consultant job in Edinburgh, with some travel within the UK. Our client is an established communications consultancy delivering online branding and digital marketing services to a variety of companies and organisations across the UK. An enthusiastic and forward thing company with a focus on quality and innovation, they now need an additional Consultant to join the team in Edinburgh and work with some of the biggest names in public and private sector. Ideally you will have experience working with companies in the financial or professional services sector.

As a Consultant your job will be to work alongside an experienced team of Information Architects, Digital Strategists and Usability Specialists delivering a wde range of large scale online projects from web strategy to social networking. We would expect you to have a broad understanding and an interest in IA, user experience and creating the best online experience for end users through emerging technologies. Similarly, you will have a good understanding of content management systems, user centred design and social media. As you will be involved in developing and presenting proposals to clients you will need good written skills and the ability to understand requirements, including competitor and market analysis. Ideally you will have experience working with companies in the financial or professional services sector and be able credibly consult and present ideas at a senior level in such a company. You will report to the Head of Consulting and will be required to travel to visit client sites, attend conferences and industry events and work on varied consltancy assigments.
