PlayStation Home Co-ordinator

PlayStation Home is the 3D, online, social gaming service from Sony. It is a virtual world where you can interact with other users around the world, customise your virtual apartment, shop, play games and even watch movies. Our client who is based in Edinburgh develop virtual spaces, games and avatar merchandise for PlayStation Home. With an exciting new development soon to be unveiled we need a Co-ordinator who will be responsible for building a community around this new functionality.

This is a top secret development so the details we can share are pretty scarce but what we need is someone who has experience of PlayStation Home and an interest in, and preferably experience of, building and supporting an online community. You will be responsible for promoting the user community within and outwith Home; both online and in the real world. You will be tasked with promoting the new features, developing the userbase, managing tournaments and leaderboards, as well as organising events and conducting PR to raise awareness and build the communities userbase. You\'ll be expected to contribute towards the ongoing development by analysing user feedback and feature requests and taking the suggestions back to the development team so that the service can be improved.

To be considered you will need to have a great understanding and considerable experience of PlayStation Home, virtual worlds, social media and online promotion, PR and blogging.

Salary will ultimately depend on what you can bring to the role, but the budget is £20,000 to £26,000.
