Test Manager - Glasgow

Test Manager - IA, UX, Usability. Davidson are looking for a Test Manager to join a digital agency in Glasgow in a new digital marketing job overseeing the final testing of web design and development projects before launch. The Test Manager will ensure that the creative vision of a variety of online marketing, web design and web development projects is realised and that digital marketing projects meet a high standard of technical implementation.

Specifically, the Test Manager will be involved in establishing the test plans for digital marketing projects and carrying our user experience, cross browser, accessibility and security or penetration testing. This is a key role as the Test Manager will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and liaising with the creative and technical teams to bring about changes in the workflow, ultimately improving the quality of work delivered by the agency.

Due to the nature of the job the Test Manager will need to have a good background in testing web design and development projects, be familiar with cross browser issues and have the level of detail required to identify inconsistencies between the initial design and final implementation. It would be beneficial for the Test Manager to have some experience of mark up or front end development which would allow them to be able to easily identify or even troubleshoot issues in HTML, CSS and Javascript. Any additional experience of User Experience (UX), Information Architecture (IA) or Usability would be beneficial.

The salary will be negotiable and based on previous experience, in the range of £28,000 to £34,000K.
