Web Developer (XHTML, CSS) - Our client is a well established and growing digital agency based in the city centre of Glasgow. They build and maintain websites, intranets and online applications for a range of clients in the UK and abroad. Due to new projects and ongoing growth we have an immediate permanent role for a Web Developer with experience of CSS and XHTML.

As Web Developer you will be responsible for  taking static webpage or email designs and producing the XHTML and CSS required to display the page as it was designed, testing thoroughly to ensure compatibility across various browsers and mail clients. The Web Developer will also be resposible for creating, testing and maintaining content for client sites using the in-house content management system, including the creation of new templates for the CMS. Any additional development experience such as ASP.Net (VB.Net or c#), Javascript, JQuery/AJAX, DOM, or mobile development experience for Android, iPhone or Flash/Silverlight would be highly beneficial.
